Additionally, their products adhere to the OEKO-TEX Standard 100 23288 OETI, guaranteeing no harmful substances are used. They also boast RDS (Responsible Down Standard) certification, reflecting responsible animal welfare practices in down and feather sourcing. Highlighting their excellence, HEFEL was honored with the “Austria Product of the Year 2019” award by the ÖGVS (Austrian Society for Consumer Studies) in the bedding products category. Our Packaging and Eco-Friendly Operation

We prioritize the use of FSC Recycled materials, ensuring our paper-based bags originate from responsibly managed sources. The paper is treated to be Elemental Chlorine Free (ECF), reducing harmful environmental impacts. We also ensure our paper is acid-free, enhancing durability and extending its lifespan. Our packaging is rigorously tested for heavy metal content, adhering to the Directive 94/62/EC standards, and incorporates selected secondary fibers for additional environmental responsibility.
Moreover, we’ve adopted Long Life ISO 9706 standards, ensuring our paper products can withstand the test of time. Our dedication to the planet is further exemplified by our choice of non-toxic, soy-based inks for printing, significantly reducing harmful emissions. In our efforts to reduce our carbon footprint, we’ve transitioned from paper invoices to electronic versions, minimizing paper waste and contributing to a more sustainable future.
Our Store Fittings
Our store, reminiscent of a serene sea of dreams and a sleep museum, is thoughtfully designed with warm tones and neutral colors. We’ve carefully selected sustainable and natural materials like moss tiles, woven vinyl tiles, and PFC-free wallcoverings and fabrics to create a harmonious atmosphere. Each material used in our store proudly holds international certifications, ensuring they are environmentally friendly and safe.
We adhere to the OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100, guaranteeing that our textiles are free from harmful substances. Our commitment to the environment is further reinforced by using 100% PFC-free materials, ensuring no perfluorinated compounds are present. The VinylPlus® Product Label on our vinyl tiles signifies responsible PVC manufacturing and management. Additionally, we have the Intertek Certification, underscoring the safety and quality of our products.
